Note the slide meter, and pulley and pen wire. We will talk about these later. But the indicator is the first meter, driven by the differential amplifier below the clock and meters.

The second meter is driven of the integrator drum and is the gallons of fluid that has flowed. This meter is an accumulator, just a set of wheels that counts the number of revolutions of the drum.

This shows all three meters;

1) The clock
2) The Slide indicator
4) The Gallon meter

We are now in a position to look at the recorder.

This is on the left hand side of the system and included a paper feeder for long duration recording.
